三明治画廊
金宁宁将三明治空间改造成一个自成一体的系统，其快门可以是任何访客，通过他的体重，更是他对创造性飞跃的勇气————真的要一跃而下的呦。艺术家意识到少有人会情愿接受飞跃的风险。无论如何，公众在这里不仅是参与者，也将成为某些作品存在与否的实际缘由。
空间的内部和外部，将完全是相互依存的：巧克力（内部空间）内什么也不会被造出来，如果不是通过三明治（外部空间）的活动。同时，没有什么会在内部空间被摧毁如果不是来自外部空间的指令。此系统具有创作绘画的能力，它甚至将不再需要艺术家的介入。金宁宁只是构建出复杂的机制，连接颜料与启动装置之间的机械臂和部件，最终的创造轨迹确为机械性质但又并非随机。
彩色亮片，墨水，树脂，塑料瓶，破洞的体恤，充气人，电动机。在构成系统的这些多样元素之外，金宁宁的装置依赖于一个简单的决定：是否要跃入虚空。
三明治画廊
最初的三明治展示空间利用了两座工业建筑之间夹道的隐藏潜力，加之1.5米宽乘8米长的不寻常比例，而目前空间在持续地扩充。始于坚信任何阻碍都是找到终极解答之源泉，三明治将现有空间的属性转化至建构极限并与本地、国际艺术家合作挑战一系列在地项目和装置。三明治于2016年开放，位于罗马尼亚布加勒斯特城市边缘的工业区，是一个由艺术家运营的当代艺术空间。

Sandwich
Jin Ningning converts Sandwich into an elaborate system whose shutter can be any visitor, through their weight but also their courage to take a creative leap – for real. He is aware that not many will take this leap. In any case, the public is here not just an active participant, but becomes the actual reason for which some works will exist and others won't.
The two spaces, inside and outside, are fully co-dependent: nothing is made in Chocolat if there is no action in Sandwich. At the same time, nothing gets destroyed inside if the destruction is not commanded from outdoors. The system has the capacity to paint, seemingly without the intervention of the artist. Ningning only builds the complex apparatus, the levers and connections between activator and pigment, while the final creative gesture remains mechanical, yet not random.
Glitter, ink, resin, plastic bottles, pierced t-shirts, inflatable figures, electric motors. Beyond the variety of elements of which Ningning's system is made of, the device relies on a simple decision: to leap into the void or not.
Sandwich started off by using the hidden potential of a residual space with the proportion of 1.5 by 8 meters, found in-between two utilitarian buildings, and is slowly but constantly expanding. Strongly believing that any restraint is a resource for finding the ultimate solution, sandwich converts the characteristics of the chosen space into constructive limits. Sandwich works as an art space since 2016.

C5CNM是一个地处北京798艺术区的实验性艺术空间。长宽4.75 x 5.25米，挑高 3.5米，它小而独特的空间比例适合艺术家将展览整体视作一件作品去构想。
C5CNM的空间本身即是一件作品，有意违背了当代艺术展示空间中使用的中性和纯粹性的白盒子原则。艺术家金宁宁的设计是种交互性质的邀请，如同创造一个游戏环境。参展的艺术家需要考虑在他人的世界中实现自己意图，在合作或抗拒中找到新的展示方式。
今天的艺术可以是任何媒介和形式，更不回避矛盾的混合与身份叠加。如果这份自由是真诚的，它何尝不能成为一种新的展览方式的起点。C5CNM为这一开放性的实践增加了新的筹码：一个本身即是艺术作品的背景，与之后发生的一切在时间和空间中产生混合，成为新的一体，从而视觉体验被给予声学的特征。
空间从2019年春天开放以来，已呈现多个当代艺术展览和前卫音乐演出的项目，并以“画廊airbnb”的方式与非营利机构合作。我们希望对开放性的追求不止步于视觉艺术领域。C5CNM是一个可以7天24小时向公众开放的空间，来访者通过扫码发送请求索取当天的电子锁密码，获得随时进入展厅与作品相处权限。
The present interdisciplinary scope of art allows overlapping identities and combining opposites. That this freedom is genuine and can become the foundational principle of a new type of exhibition. C5CNM embraces this plasticity and offers a compelling proposal to raise the stakes. The gallery space is itself a multifaceted and transformational artwork that mixes with the different occurrences that take place within, giving visual experience also an “acoustic” complexity.
Since its opening in Spring 2019 C5CNM has transitioned between exhibition space, live performance venue, and “air b-n-b gallery” for non-profits, and it is open to many more interpretations (functions). We hope this quest for unlimited freedom will attract creative individuals or collaboratives from beyond the field of visual art to produce works. We can not anticipate the forms this may take, but only look forward.
C5CNM is free and open to the public 24/7. Visitors may enter the space by acquiring the electronic lock combination any time of the day or night and are welcome to spend time alone with the work.
